It's like being in Portugal when visiting this place but with less Pastel De Natas and more chainsaws. As expensive as Tesco in the main apart from their own goods.
Large grocery shop with excellent pricing compared to some of the other suppliers in the area.nnThis Lidl also boast and electric car charging station and ample parking out in the open as well as undercover.nnSmall queue at the end to pay for goods in the self service area, but it moved along quickly.nnI will be making this my weekly shop spot
Shopping almost every 2-3 days in Lidl in Epsom. Love it. But what is bad is watermelon section. They have displayed 2 prices for small and big ones and you don't know which one is which so need to eyeball it. I made sure to grab a small one. Came to the till ,got charged for big one. I kindly asked how he new which one to charge me for when there is no sticker on them. He replied that the one I chose was the big one. It weight was 3.7 kg. I decided not to buy it . That's definitely not good business.
Lidl have set up parking restrictions in this store!!! After getting back from 6 weeks away we had so much shopping that we took 1 hour 49 mins. £280 spent. +Parking ticket. I complained and it was removed, but their tills are very slow and lots of people, I do a lot of shopping when I go out, so please consider that I don't want to rush my shopping, especially when they decide to move all the shop around, so you don't know where anything is.nNot a happy bunny!
I had the greatest pleasure of receiving excellent customer service from Harley and Charlie today. They were both so friendly and helpful and are clearly an asset to Lidl. I left with a big smile on my face, thank you both for simply being such lovely people.
