Highly recommend this Lidl for a budget-friendly shop. The bakery is always fresh with a great selection, and the shelves are consistently well-stocked. Even during busy periods, the staff are efficient at opening extra checkouts to keep the queues moving. Plenty of parking and the middle aisle always has some brilliant finds. Excellent value for money.
A very nice, bright and clean modern Lidl with efficient self service tills. Very clean and tidy and the middle of Lidl was huge. A massive range.nnI found the bread and cheese aI needed easily and quickly and managed not to buy anything else which was amazing.nnPlenty of parking and open till 10pm.nnI needed the loo and there are no customer toilets so it has lost a star.
All ok, but the self service checkouts need a deep clean. There's food bits and all manner of detritus in-between the equipment bagging area and frames.
Lidl is Lidl. As efficient as Germany. Great European food for cheap. Small shop but wide range of products. Plenty of parking spots. Great place to get your groceries in Gravesned.
Date: 27 December 2025nTime: Around 3:30pmnnI am extremely disappointed by what I witnessed during my visit to this Lidl store yesterday. As I walked in, I saw a rat run directly into the open bakery section. This was genuinely shocking and disturbing, especially given that the bakery items are exposed.nnWhile I do not usually purchase from the open bakery area, the incident completely put me off shopping in the store altogether. I was unable to buy even fruit or packaged items due to concerns about hygiene and the possibility of contamination if rodents are present on the shop floor.nnWhat was equally concerning was the lack of reaction from staff, who did not appear shocked or surprised, which raises serious questions about whether this is a known or ongoing issue.nnFood hygiene and pest control are basic expectations in any supermarket. I strongly urge Lidl management to investigate this matter urgently and take immediate action to ensure customer safety and confidence.
