Lidl~Hastings is one of the best supermarkets in Hastings where good value for money and freshest produce and latest groceries items go hand in hand. It is located along the corner of Bohemia Road and Church Road with adequate free parking spaces and disabled parking spaces are available. The supermarket is clean and spacious with a variety of products at a cheaper and competitive prices compared to other supermarkets in town. Staff are always busy stacking up products but are friendly and helpful. Queues can be long on a certain time of shopping especially on Thursdays where new items are available. Tills are always manned depending on the volume of shoppers in wait. I prefer the self-service till as i only shop few items at a time. Lidl is also convenietly located near Esso Petrol station. Worthwhile to visit.
Wow!!! What an experience. Clean, well stocked, friendly people, great atmosphere. Much better than the other competitor. And a loyalty card that gives great savings!
We love Lidl and came here expecting to do our usually great shop. Unfortunately, the bakery, middle aisle, and flavour of the week sections were very poorly stocked, and the shop was difficult to navigate due to the excess of boxes and pallets left around. There were very few parking spots.
Nice friendly staff and a good store. Only 2 complaints, the fruit , particularly the strawberries and raspberries, is very often rotten BEFORE purchase. I have seen this on many occasions. Also there are not enough staff to control the aisles when kids are playing up or similar. Two small kids were allowed to fill a whole aisle with loo rolls blocking the way. It was a good 15 mins before anybody could be found to sort it
Don't really like how they treat us installing those gates, it suppose to make shopping easier not more annoying by going true the self check out. And the fact they change everything where it is every week is also annoying. I understand the ideea, but is no need.
