I don't think it's the fault of Lichfield City railway station that the facilities were not working when I got off the train . I'm not aware if there's some sort of conspiracy against me to stop me from relieving myself after stepping onto the platform. Lichfield City performs a function. It allows people to get on and off transport with metal wheels. It does little else. It didn't allow me to do what I most wanted to do. I wish I'd 'gone' on the train.
I love it here.nOne of the things that makes Lichfield stand out - for me - is the community spirit and seeing how proud residents are of their city.
I visited Lichfield alot in 2024 as I was growing the business. But it wasn't until last 2025 that I came to appreciate how clean and people friendly this station actually is in comparison to other stations I now use regularly. Well done British Rail team at Lichfield.
The lift is broken and will be out of action for the foreseeable future according to the staff. There is no ramp but 24 steep stairs and I now cannot get onto the platforms . The staff recommend Lichfield TV but I can’t not get there. There are many people like me who now can’t travel into Birmingham
Nice town for a visit. Nothing too outstanding but pretty enough. The cathedral and surrounding area is lovely. The nearby lake is very picturesque. The town itself is a little bit disappointing, there’s a few nice restaurants and quite a few coffee shops but nothing very exciting to report shop wise.
