Absolutely amazing day! Excellent range of reptiles and birds, good information boards. Fabulous falconry display with lots of information. The birds are obviously well looked after and staff are passionate about what they do. Play area and cafe were really nice. Clean toilets. We will definitely visit again xVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
My daughter enjoyed the most amazing morning at Liberty's with Jason, on her special Owl Experience Birthday voucher. A brilliant gift idea. Very educational, hands-on and an experience she will never forget. Highly, highly recommend!! We have visited Liberty's on numerous occasions over the years and love the flying bird displays usually 12 noon and 2pm but double check timings So many beautiful birds of prey and owls to see, and learn about. Also the indoor reptile centre full of snakes, chameleons and spiders... A nice little tea shop serving light lunches, cakes and refreshments. Don't forget to visit the tortoise! Perfect for all ages from toddlers to grandparents.
A fantastic day out. The trainers/owners of the birds were enthusiastic and happy to answer questions that I'm sure they hear every day without fail. The birds are completely amazing and well cared for. We timed it just right by chance and found two of the staff taking out a Python ? to show. The only downside was the cafe .... You really need a proper coffee machine please!
Visited Liberty's on the way home from a short break in the New Forest. On arrival and entry it looked a little run down and neglected in some areas. We were impressed with the large collection of owls and raptors and were pleased to see that there were some new enclosures being built. The flying display was definitely worth the visit and the young gentleman/trainer was superb and extremely informative. The admission price of £13.95 was definitely money well spent and would definitely recommend a visit to Liberty's.
Visited on a quiet Sunday morning and was surprised of how many enclosures they had. Great displays by talented staff, a great was to spend a morning or afternoon. Well thought out even had dog kennels at the entrance, best take your own lock if wanting to use these
Lovely day out. Really hot but still really good. They did a smaller flying display but was still lots of fun and full of facts for the kids. Well worth the money. You get nice and close to all the animals. Will be returning again
It's a tale of two halves this one. The 'show' where you get to watch some incredible birds fly was truly wonderful, I mean just magical. The lady we saw as the presenter had just returned from maternity leave and she was just brilliant, knowledgeable and cared about the birds. I feel its important to note that many of the birds have been rescued and as such may not have been trained appropriately to facilitate an optimum life in captivity, whilst not having the skills to live wild, so you do need to keep this in mind. That being said, there is something undeniably sad about some of the small enclosures both for the birds and the reptiles and arachnids, but just like the rest of us, they can't magic up more space! Everything was clean, the mazelike enclosures in general had appropriate perches and hiding spots, they even had a less than 1 month old falcon who looked very healthy, so they must be doing something right! There is a little play park for kids, plenty of benches and a little cafe to help with the essential icecreams. I'll be honest before we sat through the show, I thought the entry price was maybe double what it should be, but I loved the show so much... In summary... I did enjoy the half day spent there and so did my teenagers.
What a great place to take the kids well OK and the grown-ups along to.. Bird show was great with lots of interesting facts about the birds and the work they do there. Well worth a visit.
Fantastic afternoon and Liberty's today. Had a Falconry experience for Christmas. The staff were brilliant. Lisa was very informative and interesting. Handled different owls and had a great time flying various birds of prey.
Fantastic array of birds and interactive talk. Loved the koi pond and spent a good few hours reading all the informative signs and enjoying myself here. Great day out!
