The food was nice overall. I was slightly disappointed with the portion size given the price and also not a great deal of gluten-free choices. The staff were friendly and the food we did order was good.
I sent my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are tasty and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. always when we eat in this place we have a pleasant time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.
two days ago was our first time in this place. But It is obviously not the last time. We had a good time with the excellent service, with the great cooking and wine and with the decent charge. We will no doubt go back there soon.
Attentive and friendly staff ... Clean interior although slightly dated.. attention to detail on the food presentation was brilliant .. the food itself was definitely above average . Over all a enjoyable meal that would be hard to fault .. even the bill was moderate.

One of the best Restaurants in Witham and unique in this area of Essex due to its fine dining Imperial Chinese style. Food is delicious, staff are friendly, efficient and very professional. It makes for a great restaurant for a date night treat up to a small group reunion.
Tonight was the worst meal we have ever had in Lian’s Witham. We have been coming here for 15 years, we will not be coming back. Overpriced and overrated. Wine was warm, starters were cold, definitely smaller portions, Lobster was cold and underdone and stringy. Service disgusting, No apologies! Definitely will NOT be coming back

Very smart place. Tidy, well organised and food very good. Staff, plenty of them, are pleasant, polite. A bit on the expensive side, but, well worth a visit. I will be going back.
