I have been playing walking in cricket for over two years. It’s been great fun with a great bunch of players. Saj and Kan have made it much more than just a knockabout. I certainly am all the better for it.
It is an absolute privilege to be part of Leytonstone Walking Cricket, which takes place every Tuesday morning. Always a friendly welcome from Saj who takes a keen interest in our group. A special mention to our wonderful coach Kanan. We as a group are continually learning how to play and apply ourselves thanks to our coach. The facilities provided are also first class. You could not hope to meet a nicer group of people. Long may it continue.
I have been playing walking cricket at Leyton Cricket ground for some time now. It’s great fun with a great bunch of lads and excellent facilities. The training and games are also really enjoyable thanks to the coaches, Kanan and Saj. A great asset to the community.
I play walking cricket at the Leyton County Ground. Since I started the number of people playing has increased hugely, by people who have never played before , it has helped us all with health and friendships.Huge thanks to Saj for all his help in organising our sessions and Kanan for his patience with his coaching skills.
I have been playing indoor walking cricket regularly at Leyton Sports Centre for a few years now. It is something I and my fellow players enjoy immensely and look forward to each week We have excellent support from Saj from Waltham Forest, who is always there to meet our needs, and a great coach in Kanan who takes the sessions. We are all older people, and as well as the physical benefits of being able to playing a terrific sport, the meeting of others and establishing new and lasting friendships is of huge value to our emotional well being and preventing the dangers of social isolation. Thank you all and long may it continue!
