This was a solid station for arrival and departure, with a large number of platforms for a station of minor service! These are appropriately sized for the trains and connected nicely by the bridge, design has been done up for modernness too. Exit is accessible out to the town, cleanliness had been maintained as well!

Great station for our town. Station staff are really friendly and informative. Also, the friends of Leyland station have made it superb!
An extremely frustrating station to get in & out of now that they've removed the old footbridge, especially if you're coming from the church side needing a Liverpool train & have to run across the car park to where the entrance should intuitively be, realise it's not there, then run to where it actually is, round a zig-zag ramp then half the length of platform 4 to get to the footbridge to platform 2.nnComing from Liverpool, you can avoid this, but only by going all the way round the end of the ramp up to the road bridge because the only staircase to there has now been demolished.nnFor interchanging passengers however, this station is really good.
No bus station with poor information at bus stops train station ticket office regularly closed.nNo where to get help or information for bus tickets and when you get what's meant be a any bus ticket some bus services won't accept it so end up stuck
