Ordered a steak pudding & chips, and fish & chips to go. Previously had good experiences here but this time there was nothing positive I can say. Opened the bag and they’d served one with just the paper and put a box in there so there was gravy everywhere and half of the food was lost in the bag, in the other order there was hairs on the chips I’m blonde and my friends ginger so it was not ours. And to top it off the chips and fish was dry. £14 later, still hungry and put off chippy.
Had a dinner on friday night with wife. Ordered large haddocks, chips and mushy peas. They were great and We were very satisfied.
Good quality..had fish and chips with a side of curry sauce..quick service,it was a Saturday evening around 5pm so I was expecting a long wait but was in and out in 20 mins..that included an order for 3 people. Kid-friendliness: Seats for everyone waiting and a lovely kiddy meal
Large fishes were cooked beautifully delicious been coming here for afew years and will remain doing so. Very clean and the staff polite and friendly Parking: Easy to park on large carpark Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to enter wide doorways easy access to dining area
Leyland Cross made me cross. The sausage, chips and drink special left a lot to be desired. The portion of gravy was pitiful and the chips lacked any sort of crunch - the drink was also just a choice of 2 off-brand colas. The fact that this place is cash only still in 2021 is shocking. A card machine and a better fryer please! I won’t be going back
This shop has a well deserved reputation for being the best fish and chips outlet in the Leyland and surrounding areas. The food is always at an excellent and reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly and helpful and serve food promptly even at the busiest times. In addition to the usual takeaway service they have a dine in section with food delivered to your table on plates. Well worth a visit if you are in this area.

First time I've been. I got a lunchtime special with my Dad. Small chips, fish, peas and a small bottle of pop. To be honest, it was just enough and for £4 each, well worth it. It was very busy, they have a numbered ticket system going on. We hadn't a clue how it worked but got them after about a five minute wait. Really well cooked, recommended
Get pie chips and gravy no gravy and horrid microwaved pie at the bottom a d chips shoved on top a blonde hair in the curry pot nothing like it used to be not good at all !!
First visit to this Fish & Chip shop and wasn't disappointed. Clean and plenty of space to queue when busy though we were the only ones in the takeaway at the time. Friendly staff, served very quickly and the chips were of a decent portion. Chips were good just the right side of soft inside and crisp outside. Can't comment on the rest but will certainly be back to sample what they have on offer.
