Very dated site, arranged on different levels was previously a quarry.nFacilities desperately need updating.nSome pitches are quite small.nAccess can be awkward on arrival if lots of new-arrivals.nThe Motorhome Service point is located at the top end of the site, which is well away from the lower section.nApprox 1.5 mile walk into Leyburn.nFriendly staff
Site is half wooden half open with a great view. Short walk from campsite into layburn and an amazing pub at the bottom of the hill from the entrance you drive in from.
Set in a disused quarry, we visit regularly never tire of it tv signal not too good mobile signal good a quiet and pleasant site.
lovely site well worth visiting
what a shambles this company is, very confusing Web site, I booked to stay at Leyburn but when I arrived at Leyburn I was told I was booked in at beamish. I asked for a refund and was told it was my fault!.
