A brilliant fish and chip shop. The fish is fresh and the service is friendly and efficient. We had delicious beer battered haddock which tasted amazing- you could taste the beer in the batter and the fish was meaty and flavoursome. The chips were out of this world!! Crispy with skins on...just so good!
There was a looooong wait, but what heck, the food was good. The battered Haike was great, as was the fish cake. The peas are a bit of a let down so don't bother, but overall it was really good food. And you can have a pint from over the road while you wait.
Just fancied fish n chips, never had any from here before, and will never again! Very poor service the boys didn't even ask if i wanted salt and vinegar, the chips were brunt and the fish didnt taste of anything, dry and maybe old? Not what i expect for that price.
