We are selling our property and Lewis & Dick are acting for the bottom of the chain. We were supposed to complete on the 8th Feb. Today is the 27th March and we've still not even exchanged!! They don't bother replying to emails/calls whether it's from their own client, the estate agent, or the other solicitors in the chain. I don't know how these people can go home after a days work and feel that they have achieved something with their day. Why don't solicitors ever think about the knock on effect of their work, or lack of! So infuriating. Looking at the other 1 star reviews, it looks as though it's quite a common occurrence.

I don't understand the negative reviews this company has! They came recommended through numerous friends and I have used them twice, soon to be three times; no problems ever experienced. I pay my solicitor to do a job for me and trust them to get it done without bothering me too much. 5 stars!

Do not take phone calls, never phone back. I can't believe just how useless they are. Took them 5 days to even request a simple form from the bank when we were desperate for it. Rude and incompetent. Do not use them.

I used Lewis and Dick in Crawley for the recent sale of my property. I found the experience to be unnecessarily unpleasant. Rude, disinterested and unhelpful, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Rubbish service when it comes to chasing/requesting documents. Found out the solicitor is on holiday and therefore all the paper work and queries cannot be answered. This has resulted in a delay of over a month with regards to the completion date. I recommend not to use them at all.
