Great place to ride too. Just off the south downs, so I'd your passing check out this historical monument, that timelines England's history. Also home to one of the Anns's. Wife of the infamous king Henry VIII. Check it out!!

Lovely place to visit and spend the weekend if you ever get the chance

Simply beautiful! The view was amazing! It was an excellent family outing.

Very cool castle to visit. Not a great deal to see but you can imagine it back in it's hey day. The barbican is the best party of the visit in my opinion.

Really wonderful, enthusiastic staff, with an obvious pride in the place and who volunteered lots of information and suggestions as to how ana when to see things. Beautifully laid out ana with fabulous views. Definitely worth the entrance fee
