We were visiting the area from Kent to climb Pen Y Fan over the May bank holiday weekend. This hotel is less than an hour from Cardiff and relatively close to Pen Y Fan by car. The rooms are clean and modern, the staff are so friendly and the breakfast was incredible with the best veggie sausages I’ve ever had. Thank you for your hospitality!

The hotel is tucked away in a residential area so although there’s facilities close by, they’re not tourist facilities.nnThe rooms was spacious and very clean but may benefit from a desk of some description. If you’re a light sleeper this may not be the hotel for you. Noise pollution was a an issue - could easily hear others conversations well into the night on both sides of the room. and being over the main entrance.nnThat said, the staff were great, really friendly and attentive. Cooked breakfast was very good.nnParking is a little restrictive but there’s a much bigger car park just a stroll away.nnGreat location for the region with easy access.

Location is pretty discreet and peaceful. The staff are very welcoming and their customer service skills is great! Room is spacious and very clean. I will be staying again in the future and definitely recommend!

Had a Sunday dinner delivered. All is can say is WOW. The roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and so fluffy in the middle, the potatoes were soft, yourchsire pudding was soft and fluffy. Even my picky eating children eat it all. Not one bad thing to say. Absolutely beautiful food. Thank you to the chef, delivery driver and all staff.

I was in Ebbw Vale for a funeral and the Level Inn welcomed me with open arms.nAll of the staff greeted me by name, everyone was friendly and very professional.nThe breakfast is fabulous, I could have spent an hour in there every morning!nn2 negatives, the first is the coffee, I live in Spain and am used to good, proper coffee, instant just doesn't cut the mustard, especially in the morning!nThe second is the heating, I found it too hot and had to have the window open, a thermostat on the radiator would be a great investment!nnThose 2 things didn't detract at all from the fabulous, friendly service at the hotel.nnClean, comfortable and very welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a Brecon Beacons base.nnThank you all so much!
