I found this cidery on Google maps while driving through Somerset and took a chance on dropping by. As luck would have it the cider maker was in no guarantees - at present this is not a shop but there is a sign outside advertising cider and honey. The cider is made in small batches from 42 apple trees on the owners orchard, picked, pressed, brewed and bottled by hand. There are no added sulphites, yeasts, and the cider undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle. The result is a clear, crisp, dry, lightly sparkling cider. It’s real and it’s delicious. Highly recommended.
