Absolutely fantastic experience shopping online with Lesters! Absolutely thrilled with my pushchair, was £200 cheaper than everywhere else and it was delivered FREE within 30 hours! Must admit after reading reviews I was a little sceptical, but I simply called the store and checked my items were in stock polite and helpful staff member, READ the delivery and returns policy which clearly states a monetary charge for cancelled orders and placed my order. So glad I shopped with Lesters and will be recommending to everyone.
Horrible Customer Service! Cheeky Scammers! Avoid!!! Received terrible service from the “store manager” Kept going in circles when I asked to speak to someone senior. Has a chip on his shoulder to try and feel more important than he is. Very rude and terrible customer service, really should undergo more training. Called to cancel my order within 24 hours to which he replied there would be a £10 charge to do this. I said it doesn’t state this anywhere on your website. He sent over terms and conditions that doesn’t mention this anywhere, it only states that there’s a £15 charge if you return the items once you receive it. He should really be aware of terms and conductions if he is a manager. Shocking terrible service. Asked to keep the order as it is for now, as I definitely will be taking this further once received. I refuse to be charged to cancel within 24 hours, for an order made online when the item hasn’t been received and no tracking information has been received yet either!
I had a lovely shopping experience buying my sons car seat from Lesters. The service was amazing from start to finish from the whole team. They even fitted the car seat for me. Thank you team Lesters!
Awful customer service. Return a pram as one of the breaks didn't lock. It as taken almost 2 weeks and still haven't got it back. I put a complaint to the store and didn't receive any kind of compensation in anyway. Porr customer satisfaction I do not recommend
Lester's is on the ground floor. It isn't far from Tesco's Cheetham Hill. They have really great service with people happy to guide you, help you, and talk you through the benefits and drawbacks of the different options so you can come to find what is best for you. They have a variety in store, a portion of what you can find online.
I bought my Cybex Priam from Lesters & they were so knowledgeable and informative. They ensured that my car seat and base would fit in the car I had - which after prior trips to other pram stores , as long as some have a sale they don't bother with all the rest of the small details - at Lesters I felt like they couldn't do enough for me and their service went beyond just the sale. They stored my pram until my day of collection. Any query I had was responded to promptly. Even when I needed my pram earlier than we planned, they arranged a collection and helped load it all into the car. Fast forward 11 months and a part broke on my pram user error after speaking with Lesters, they arranged a next day collection of the frame and provided a replacement frame - had it mended by the manufacturer and then arranged a swap over once completed. I would fully recommend Lesters to anybody searching for a new pram or any baby shopping etc they've been amazing!
I bought baby bath form your store last dec. after 3 mouths the bath was damaged i contact your costumer services and specked with Liran Bowers and he was AMAZING. he order a replacement for me ASAP and help me with everything i needed. thank your liran and thank you Lesters Nurseryworld great TEAM! thanks Feldi
I visited lesters originally just to browse for a pram system as inwas visiting manchester - i had no intention of buying- just browsing- as we were expecting our first child and i wanted to physically view and try out different pram options. From walking through the door, we were greeted and allowed time to independently browse. A shirt while after which we were asked if we needed help and were shown around and our preferred pram system was demonstrated to us in terms of options/ functions and capeabilities. We decided on the egg2 bundle which worked out the cheapest we had seen. What was an extra bonus was that we only needed to Leave a deposit and when we were ready to collect just needed to call ahead, clear the balance and pick up! Their free hold facility was so useful as it meant it didnt clog up space at our home. What i fully appreciated was the fact we were not hasseled or force-sold to. The adviser genuinly was so knowlegeable and did not put pressure on us to buy or lock in the deal- she even went as far as writing out all our items and prices so we could go away and decide- however we decided to buy there and then! Lesters also have a huge range of other baby items- basically everything you need for a baby! So we ended up also ordering all our baby nursery furniture from them too which i did by taking pictures of the things i liked in the showroom, returning home to measure up and then simply emailing them asking for all the items to be added to my order- which was done very efficiently . I did actually look around several other baby stores before i emailed them in krder to compare and shop around- but non compared to lesters in terms of choice , quality, price and customer service. Overall, if you are looking to shop for baby items- i would highly recommend Lesters. Their staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, they have a huge range of quality items, they have a deoposit/hold option should you need it and their communication from my experience start to finish has been excellent! I actually live in Birmingham so for me to travel to manchester shows how impressed i was! Thank you again to all the team at Lesters!
I ordered a very expensive crib two-3 weeks before was in stock online customer service call me to tell me that they don’t have it in stock anymore and they will dispatch it in 2 weeks , end of the month and I advice them that I can’t wait longer as I was almost due.they reassured me that in case anything happens will let me know. I call them in the day of delivery because I didn’t receive no crib and they assured me they will call me later for the update and never called. Next day I call them again for them to tell me they don’t know when they will have a crib even if I am due less then 3 weeks and they are Sory but they don’t know. Terrible customer service ! I ended up needing to buy the crib from another company.Don’t buy from Lesters as they are unreliable !!!!Comunication zero, responsibility 0!!
Highly recommend! Michael from customer services reached out to me to highlight that the high chair accessory I had purchased was actually part of a baby bundle already in my order and I was effectively buying the accessory twice. As a new mum, with lots on, this detail had passed me by and I really appreciate that Michael messaged to make me aware. He offered me a full refund and ensured that the repeat accessory wasn’t posted out to me, which I thought was very environmentally friendly as it prevented unnecessary shipping and returns. Would definitely purchase from Lesters again in the future.
