Low expectation for airport food but this Leon eatery should not be underestimated. We ordered Jerk Chicken salad. It was amazing but not authentically jerk. I don't normally enjoy salad and veg, but this dish was sumptuously flavoursome. As good as one can expect at an airport....
Perfect choice!! The only place open at 5.30am, this was a welcome find for an early morning wake up. We were met with a very warm welcome, fast order process and very quick delivery of my order placed. The staff clearly work well as a team ensuring a smooth transaction and happy customers. The drinks we chose and the food are great value. I had Earl Grey and a croissant, my friend had a lovely looking flat white and a croissant too. We actually had 2 while waiting for our gate to be announced, the queues ebbed and flowed but never ridiculous and always seats available with clean clear tables.
It’s Leon, it’s fast food. I think some of the people here might be expecting gourmet food. Anyway, I got the vegan Love burger and really loved it. The patty tasted like the Beyond Meat one and the sauces were really nice as well. The staff was super friendly too
Only place the queue time was reasonable. The avocado halloumi “muffin” does not look like in the pictures. Way too small, way too greasy. Nice staff though.
Lovely place. I tried the mocha and the English breakfasts pots. A little bit small but nice. Price reasonable.
I had a great meal at Leon Heathrow T2 airport cafe - a tasty chicken burger and fresh salad. Highly recommend it for travelers!Recommended dishesHalloumi
Ugh the food is cold and stale, they people are okay, they take the orders and deliver within 1 minute which just shows the quality of the food. The hummus was literally pulled from the fridge, so was the naan. Very very average food. There are no cheap places in this terminal so pack your luggage with subway or McDonald’s…. Oh btw I had to eat in the waiting area where you wait for the gate to show… they turned down all the seating.
Interesting food variety that I liked! Fast food in the true sense of the word - majority of the food is already prepared, sitting and patiently waiting behind the counter for customers to pick them. I chose the Korean burger, which was tasty, with enough meat and great spicy kick, and a Kerala curry, also very good, but could have been a little more seasoned. Service was fast, prices were more than decent for airport food and a large selection of beverages was available, however some of them were not cold enough when I picked them up from the fridge. One thing that really annoyed me was the lack of seating space - people who finished their meals didn't move, they just kept sitting there being on their phones, laptops or books, instead of vacating the space for customers who are about to eat. I had to eat my food on an airport bench. Please do something about it! Paid by card. Visited in July 2022.
I wish the Manager and staff take notice. I came in to eat after getting our food with 2 kids and nowhere to sit. In fact, we have to asked to sit in where this person clearly not eating/have finished on a table for fours and don’t want to move. We asked if more person sat there, he said no and continuing on his phone. Clearly, we have as much right to eat than the person whose not eating so we sat down. We also offered another customer to sit next to us once my daughter finished eating. This man then accused me being rude and shouted to both of us. Thank goodness the lady said something to clammed him up. His action didn’t reflects the clothes he’s wearing nor spoken. Very unpleasant experience. I do hope nobody else experience this! There’s huge lounge outside the restaurant since my kids wanted to play on their phone and let people who comes to eat, enjoying their meal. The Manager should have a policy diners only.
I like Leon, especially at the airports. The service is quick, the currys are not spicy, and they have Peroni beer, which always puts me in the travel mood . I like the Kerlan curry and Brazilian beans. This is the first time in my life when I thought I should've brought my reading glasses with me
