Public warning against dealings with 'Rogue Trader' business Leightons Carpets and Beds Company.

Beware. This is a 'Rogue Trader' outfit, as seen on e.g BBC Watchdog. Steer clear. Sold me an Ortholuxe mattress in 20018 trading as Yorkshire Bed Company. But closed and re-opened in 2012 as Leightons. But claims to be long established. With same people managing e.g. Steve Domney. In 2017 did not / does not recognise Ortholuxe mattress; but offered a 'Washington' brand item. As seen, tried and tested. As allegedly equivalent, when not. Invoiced for this, but then supplied a Yorkshire Bed Company labelled inferior specification, and quality item. Acted in a corruptly disreputable, unprincipled and unscrupulous manner thereafter, when questioned. Dispute / deny facts supported by documentary / photographic / E-mailed letter proof. Allege "Ortho luxe" is industry gobbledygook. Promised to resolve matter to customers satisfaction, by supplying a branded 'Ortholuxe'. Gave an undertaking to replace YBC item with a 'Ortho luxe' item; but then refused, and reneged. 
Act in exploitation of lack of funding, and political will of local council trading standards / consumer protection to take action. Matter now subject of small claims court recovery of incurred costs; of default. The only way with Leightons...
