Favourite unique museum in London. A Must See, especially if you are at the Design Museum as it is just around the corner. Best exhibitions thanks to its amazing curator Daniel Robbins. And keep up to date with events: music evenings, opera, food tastings, drawing classes, and my favorite: an evening with Queen Victoria. Also, if the weather is nice, check out their garden, with a newly restored fountain, which actually, was the first fountain inside, u til it got a crack and they changed it with the current one.

I found the house very nice. And if you are into Leighton's painting, it must be very good, however it is not the style of art that attracts me. The downside to the experience is the entrance fee. I think it's expensive for what the museum offers. As I said, it's very nice, but I walked through it all in less than 45 minutes. The museum is not helped by the fact that there is only one room with benches to sit and admire the surroundings. Otherwise, I would have enjoyed it more. Because I have Art Pass, I did not pay the entrance fee and am waiting for spring to set in so that I can enjoy the garden. No photography policy does not help either. There is no cafe. Admittedly, the museum might be too small for one and might not be economically viable. However, it would be nice to have a coffee in the garden in full bloom. I'm happy I went (for free) and will return.

Amazing house with nice paintings and decorations. The Arab room is worth visiting and exploring in detail. Try to time the visit with the free walking tour, which lasts about 1.5 hours. There’s one on Sundays at 3 pm. The entrance fee is £9 and pictures are not allowed.

Definitely worth a visit, a short walk from High St Kensington tube station. Exhibition space is fairly small but the special exhibitions are generally very good. The house itself is also of interest, with my favourite room on the ground floor - the Arab tiles, lamp, wooden screened windows and fountain are lovely.

This private house museum is definitely worth visiting! It is an outstanding example of late 19th decorative arts. The fountain room is worth the trip alone!
