Lovely little market, recently revamped by the town council, in a lovely small market town and High Street. Wide variety of stalls offering from clothes, home services, phone repairs, fish mongers, flowers, bakery, fresh fruit and veg, olives, pictures/paintings, crafts, food and much more. There are several types of markets. The main regular market is the Charter Market every Tuesday and Saturday with regular occurring stalls. On the first Saturday of every month, the Pop-Up Market is held which supports business start up plus the Charter Market. On the third Saturday of every month, the Farmer's Market plus the Charter Market is held. The handmade and Craft Market is held on the fourth Saturday from March to December plus the Charter Market.

Fantastic array of stalls, especially fresh fruit and veg stall, bakery, cards, flowers. Really good quality, fresh products and monthly local farmers' market. Worth travelling into town for every Tuesday and Saturday.

I love it but I am a town Councillor. We have a great selection of traders with a new look market.

A real street market in a wonderful high street, spoke to a couple in a cafe and they said the council were trying to 'posh 'it up, I do hope they don't, visit before its to late

Went to the market on Saturday 23rd September 2017 and the relaunch of the market looks great! It is much cleaner, brighter, compact and more modern. There is always a wide range of stalls from olives, to fish, to bread, to clothes and to stained glass.
