What a lovely quiet place perfect for dog walkers who are fancying a bite to eat. I am often greeted by a lovely young lady Lily who is very willing to help and a very happy staff member. Great prices compared to everywhere else in Leigh. Plenty of parking spaces and lots of outdoor seating which is great in summer. Highly recommend.
Our local driving range and we love it. Might not have all the latest tech but there’s plenty of bays and they make a lovely sarnie even deliver to your bay!
The young girls who work here are fantastic, they go above, beyond and are always friendly, never errors remember your order, hold a good conversation lovely girls. The weekends Old ladies made us uncomfortable one moaning she does not want to be at work but over staffed?????. Can hear her moaning about staff members with others.. shame because youngsters work very hard! Young girls look dishevelled The old women here need to lighten up! Spoiled our lunch very negative environment. Avoid weekend mornings ! Rude old lady in kitchen !
A hidden gem. This is a nice and simple golf range tucked round by Two Tree Island, just past the skatepark on the right. The bays aren't bad and there are enjoyable some targets and nets on the range, for pitching, with clear yardage markers up to 250 yards and a back net. I'm a mid handicapper personally and I enjoy practicing at the range every week. I found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. Prices are in line with other ranges in the area and lessons are on offer as well. There is a car park for customers also. I haven't tried the café yet, so cannot comment, but other reviews suggest it is also good.
Extremely surprised by the rude staff. I am visiting a friend and had some free time so thought would hit some balls. I dont have my clubs with me so tried calling a few times to see if there are clubs you can use or rent but it went to straight to voicemail. I decided to walk there anyway 45 mins. To my relief there were lots of second hand clubs, however when i enquired they insisted they were for sale only. I explained i have no need for a battered donnay 3 iron but they would not compromise at all. I offered to rent for £5 instead of buying for £10 then they can still sell it and make some money. Still the answer was a straight no. So if anyone wants free 3 iron in the LoS area reply to this.
I do love this place, lots to offer, staff great. Venue is old but good condition, just so easy to get to, park and hang around even if not doing golf.
Bacon roll is top notch. Bays are a bit run down but do the job.
Has this place changed hands? Last time I visited I was charged for the gold balls and was given the clubs to use!! We tried to call the day before to check details as we were walking from a distance but the phone wasn’t answered!!! After having a drink from the cafe we asked if we could use the driving range, The member of staff serving on the counter came out to serve us our golf balls but then informed us we had to buy not hire clubs. Understand that policies change would be good to update customers with a web site or answer your phone but to then have another member of staff from the kitchen rudely interrupt to ask “are you buying or not as I need her back on the counter” exact words were a bit of a shock so we left without having the same fun we have had previously. Firmly think that the staff need some training on answering the phone and some decent customer service. Big shame.
Love this place to meet friends for coffee, ideal for dog owners too
Really nice place to hit a few balls on a Sunday morning. Cafe is nice with a good sized garden with tables and dog friendly. Only one sized yes on the matts but something you can buy for less than £8 on Amazon and take your own custom sized tees.
