I once got my foot stuck under the door and I got screamed at stating “ I knew what I was doing” when I was crying.nnthey used to have a pe teacher who made inappropriate comments to girls and after years of complains they finally quietly got rid of him.nnA teacher one grabbed a student by the backpack and dragged him down the corridornnthey are way too strict about uniform and punishment instead of your actual education :DnGot put in isolation for a week because my trousers were “too skinny” and they checked this. by sticking two fingers up your pantsnnFinally the maths teachers have or atleast used to have a competition about who could give out the most comments to students.nnI actually left like 3 years ago. Only send your kids there if you hate them :DDD
I recently left Leeds West academy to study someplace else little did I know that was the worst idea I could have ever made. Leeds West has all the enrichments you need it has an amazing SEND team with an equally amazing teacher team. The teacher there are an absolute delight unlike other schools. They have a great PE space and lots of options for year 9 student to pick. They prepare you for your GCSE's from year 7 and that what makes them achieve such great results. There form rooms are brilliant let alone the timings of the day. Please don't make the same mistake I did and do not look over how fantastic LWA is if I had the chance I would most certainly go back. Not to mention the massive canteen they have This is a wonderful school.nWishing you all the bestnAbdallah
The teachers are rubbish. They spat on me when I missed the homework deadline. School lunches gave me crippling aides and the bathroom toilets are riddled with chlamydia
Both my children go here. One Just finished yr11 and other is in yr9 . Never had any major issues, and the few small issues we had were dealt with efficiently. The school really helped my daughter with her needs Autistic The teachers were caring and always took the time she needed. My son has ADHD and has the same opinion regarding his teachers. If I had more children I would have no issues sending them here.
I’m a student here and after school they lock the toilets and your not allowed in them so you go to student reception toilets and they don’t let you in I got told I’ve lost the privilege to have a wee and then I get told to go to to drama so I did got told I’m not allowed in these toilets so I go to student reception, they told me go down to main toilet they’ll let you in they didn’t let me in so they said go to Pe toilets, told them that I did then they said go to student reception and I told them I did then I said go to drama so I said I did. I wasn’t allowed to have a wee at Leeds West Academy after all that they tell you to go at break and lunch but it’s very full in there because your not allowed on your phone so people go to the toilets and break and lunch to go on there phone and vape they won’t let you go in lesson please think before you send your child here
