Really busy station which could be extremely confusing for anyone who isn't a regular but the staff are extra helpful so not a problem. Easy to understand announcements, as a new hearing aid user this was particularly noticeable. Vast range of shops & cafes, plenty of seating.
I myself with an enjyably uplifting history in visiting & revisiting this lively yet busy modern yorkshire railway station for as long as I can remember, most recently revisited by train from morley to leeds railway station on 27th of March 2026 with my P.A. whom on a journey to northern snooker centre,nnHere are the photos I took on arriving from morley by train, as well as the later photos on the way back from northern snooker centre - whilst waiting for a train back to morley.nnThese photos are of the InterCity 225s in LNER swallow livery of whom inspired by the classic ex-Briitsh Rail swallow livery from the past.... these passenger trains are truly some of the greatest British-built expresses ever to roam the rails of the united kingdom, even the mainstay of rail services through leeds & beyond.
Leeds Train Station is big and generally well organised, but it can get extremely busy. Facilities are decent and there’s plenty around, but the crowds and rush‑hour chaos can make it a bit stressful at times.
Fantastic job with the new concourse. The station platform area is easily accessible because of the space between the ticket gates and the stairs to the bridge. Although it does take a while to get from one platform to the other if changing train, there is a massive range of facilities here that puts Leeds on a par with most major stations in London, not to mention direct rail access to most all major city in the UK
Poor signage & facilities for the less able seating, lifts. Water fountains only behind the barriers & were broken. No signs to say where the water fountains are.
