We done a SUP session and loved it. It is very cheap and you can hire the wet suits and boots at the centre for a fiver. I had already done a detailed lesson elsewhere in the past so I already knew how to work the the board. But they instructors were always there to guide you and help you. Will definitely be back!
Great experience, family wild water rafting session, 2 oldies & 4 young ones. Anton was our instructor, made sure we got safely & comprehensively splashed & had plenty of fun - surprisingly not too freezing. Drenched & loved it!
We didn't go on the water, we just walked along the towpath which was lovely. 3mile walk and back to the cafe where we had delicious soup & bread and excellent coffee. Lovely to sit outside in the sunshine. Enjoyed watching the kayakers and the firemen practising saving people from drowning!
Very nice place for water sports enthusiasts as well as spectators. The centre is well maintained, nice to walk around. There are nice cafes and huge terrace when you can watch the races with your coffee and cake.
Great day out! Done the hot dogs rafting with my brother and was definitely worth the money. Will definitely come again and try a new thing. Food is also very delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Perfect stop off, on a walk or cycle down the river. Opened at 10am Thu and Fri but different hours other days. You can have a nice hot drink inside or outside, and I think a hot lunch a bit later on. Both gates are open now too so no need to walk round the front on the road to get in.
Great facilities. Staff were friendly. Equipment was good. My wife had a lovely time kayaking around the lake.
Great place for a walk. Really interesting to watch kayakers and arfrers on the rapids. Good cafe with loads of outdoor seating and tables. There is a great park space behind the complex with plenty of trails to walk.
Had 2 amazing white water kayaking sessions here. Will go again!
