I don't understand why this resturant isn't busier. Food is fresh, good quality, well cooked and fair price. We travel 12 miles to eat there. I know they also offer takeaway and from the incoming calls seems to do a good trade. If you fancy a Chinese dine out here.
Super quick cooking. Reasonably priced too. Food is good. Long wait for delivery though as they are so busy and popular, so go for collection if you can...Food: 5/5
Terrible food. I'm usually quite open minded but this is just a chip shop trying to pretend to be a chinese, the food is just awful. No flavour, no effort just bland and tasteless. Do not waste your money there are so many better restaurants you can try, even kebab shops put more effort into their meals.
Loved this place for years, lately my orders have been SO late and can't get through on the phone. When I have received it half of it is cold. Never again
The food in this place is fine, but if your ordering a takeaway for delivery, don't bother! It will take on average 2-3 hours yes that's right 2-3hours. Very slow , when you ring after an hour to complain they say its on its way, lol. 2 hours later you complain again, "it's on the way" lol. I only live 3miles away, would be quicker if i walk and pick up.. Would not recommend for a delivery..
Not worth it for the Money , I am a passionate of salt and chilly chicken & they give me 10-12 pcs only for that amount - if we go to other well known shops they give more … Never ever suggest you dor this shops for salt and chilly chicken , other items I never tried
Lees, also named Granville. Went here with a table of 16 for our Christmas bash We chose the buffet at £25 per head and we're served a fabulous spread of food with lots of verity. Great service at the table. Only thing was the drinks were a little slow but not an issue. We came for nice food and we're looked after superbly
It doesn't appear to be called Lee's anymore, and is now The Granville... Threw is for a sec. Went in, looks lovely inside clean and presentable. Service was quick and our order was taken. We did ask for the hot and sour soup to be vegetarian... We'll come back to that. Sat waiting for about 10 minutes or just under and our bag of food was brought out, we left for home and waited to eat. When we unpacked everything and started to explore, we realised that the hot and spicy soup looked a bit chickeny... So, being vegetarian we decided to call and check with the restaurant. It was chicken, they apologised profusely and gave us a refund straight away. It's not a big thing, but annoying when you ask for something you expect to get it. That's one of the reasons for 3 stars. The other is that it's pretty pricey... Probably will go back in the future, but will check everything before we leave.
Gone down hill really badly recently. The food quality is shocking. Chicken balls for example have become very tough, greasy and over cooked. The delivery is really hit and miss. Either fast or takes 2-3 hours. Even with pre-ordering. We've been loyal customers for years but looking elsewhere now.
Since this has been taken over the quality of the food has gone down massively. I use to love the food but the fried rice isn’t even fried anymore it’s boiled rice with egg mixed into it. The plain chow mein is just boiled noodles really disappointing as this use to be a fantastic takeaway
