I am actually appalled by the service that I’ve had by the same receptionist on 2 occasions. I’ve had emergency blood test referrals from GWH to my GP Lechlade Medical Centre and she informs me no appointments available due to staff shortage which I completely understand and instructs me to go back to the hospital! My friend rings for routine blood test on same day and gets appointment no problem? I’m actually wondering if this is personal with this particular receptionist for some reason as I’ve never actually met her. In the past receptionist’s have been always accommodating routine or urgent but unfortunately this particular person doesn’t actually listen to you! Wondering if she’s on an automated system as same reply
The doctors are careless and insensitive, at best. I would score them less than 1 star if I could.nnThey told a family member that they probably had a condition that is potentially life threatening but failed to discuss the risks, the treatment options or the prognosis. No mention of factors that might exacerbate the condition, or suitable pain relief. They just sent them to the nurse for blood tests, without explanation and without a plan for follow up. This is NOT acceptable and I am furious.nI will now be finding out how lodge an official complaint in the hope that they are held to account. Not that I believe they will, in this day and age.
What a shame. This used to be a great doctor's surgery. Since the Inspire Healthcare Group have taken it over the service has become dreadful. Impossible to get through on the phone, long waits to see a doctor who are new everytime you see one and only contact is now after you fill in an online form which sometimes gets bo response at all. Then all updates now come via a text message with no option to respond.nnInspire Health Group - you’ve taken over a surgery that people loved due to the personal touch and turned it into a faceless bureaucratic nightmare for patients.
Can't fault them. Lovely receptionists especially VH who goes the extra mile. The Inspire system works really well if you are not too impatient and I have had nothing but excellent care from all the doctors.
Appalling, toke my son here for strep, went 3 times as he was very poorly and on the 3rd visit i got told a sarcastic comment 'back again!'nFrom a doctor !nShe did take a swab on the 3rd visit and it came back it was strep a.nI know my son had strep as hes had it before...he needed the antibiotics.nNo apologies given just rudeness.
