They serve raw food with a nasty attitude!nnThis was my first time ordering from here. I took a bite and noticed the chicken had a slimy texture and was not shredding as cooked chicken normally should. On checking the meal further, the chicken was raw.nnI went back to the man that served me to tell him, but the man I spoke to was unapologetic and dismissive of my concern. He refunded me in cash despite my original card payment and then quickly waved at me to go away, as if it’s my fault I serve people raw food!!!nnDue to the waiting time and travelling back and forth, my break had already ended, so I did not have time to argue or entertaining his rudeness.nnThis is disgraceful and raises serious food safety concerns, along with a strong urine smell hitting me in the face when I walked pass it the other day.nnJudging by the reviews, this is not their first rodeo of serving people raw food and giving people food poisoning!!!!!
I passed by several times and always saw a queue.nI decided to give it a try and ordered a Mixed grill with spicy rice for 16.50£.nThe meat there was kebab, chicken breast and lamb.nOn the positive side:n- The service was pleasant and I would say fast.nnOn the negative side:n- I expected there to be more meat for £16.50 takeaways;n- it was clear that several pieces of chicken and beef had been removed from the skewer and finely chopped;n- the kebab was cold and looked like it had been boiled;n- the chicken breast was dry, not juicy as it should be and felt like it had been marinated for less than 2 hours;n- the lamb also didn’t taste like the different spices that they add to the marinade;n- I asked for the sauce to go and when I tried it, it was regular mayonnaise of various types from Tesco, not homemade garlic and hot sauce;n- the meat felt undersalted;n- the rice wasn’t spicy enough, but there was a lot of it, as well as the salad.nnI've tried Lebanese takeaway and restaurant food in London, which is cheaper and much tastier, and I can compare it to this. I can assume that different shifts cook differently, but still, due to the large number of customers, the meat isn't marinated and cooked enough, and the meat portions have become small.nnP.S. Below I've included a photo of what a mixed grill with homemade sauce and bread looks like in a London restaurant for £16, and the takeaway box that I bought today for £16.50.
So delicious, so delightful and so cheap! especially for London. The meat was rich and flavourful, the chips had the right amount of flavouring and the sauce was just out of this world! The veggies, especially the red cabbage, were so fresh and crunchy.
Just tried Lebo Lebanese Restaurant in London Bridge! Delicious food with generous portions at a great price! Open till 2am, perfect for a late-night meal. Worth the wait, queue or not! Food: 5/5 #LeboLebanese #LondonFood #LebaneseFood
