Came here for 6 nations rugby which had a good atmosphere. Starters were fantastic - the beef cheek croquettes were absolutely delicious and would definitely recommend. Unfortunately the fish and chips was average. ‘Triple cooked chips’ were perhaps cooked once and the mushy peas were an afterthought. Fish was good!

Lovely looking pub with a huge beer garden but the food and service was a let down. The fish was over fried and way too crispy and the service could have been so much better. Little to no communication and not very attentive. The burgers are not worth the price they charge for them.nThe food and drinks arrived quickly even though the place was full which was great but the quality of the food and service means I'll probably not go back which is a shame as it's such a nice place.

This is my first visit to the Leather bottle in Garratt Lane, I came with two friends for early evening meal. It was a nice atmosphere at the beginning but got louder with a few children/babies. We all had fish & chips the batter was a bit too crispy! What I didn’t like was….nThe waiter took two plates while one was still eating, this is considered rude for a waitress to take other people's plates while you are still eating because it can make the person feel rushed and uncomfortable.nAlso while we were there another female waitress came and put a tile on the table!nno explanation, what it was!nThe tile had writing on there which was telling us this table was booked for 11 people at 18:45 the time she came and put this on the table was 17:13!nnThen my elderly friend saucer had been taken while she was still drinking her coffee!nnI had ordered the pumpkin cheesecake - which definitely wasn’t worth the £6 as it was very dry - the biscuit was meant to be ginger biscuits , but unfortunately you couldn’t taste that

The Leather Bottle is a great pub. The garden is tip top and is covered too. The food shack does amazing burgers. The staff are really helpful and that makes a real difference for our local pub. Big thanks to everyone who helped our event last week!

Lovely atmosphere, and a great garden on a sunny Sunday. They have a nice selection of beers. The food was delicious but some of the portions were too small. We had a roast for our main, it arrived slightly cold and there was a low selection of vegetables compared to other pubs.
