Great place to take the kids for a walk. Lots of different trails for all ages. Spent a couple of hours here exploring and found lots to see. Plenty of wildlife and streams as well as various man made waterfalls. The children’s park is a tad small but free onsite parking so can’t really complain. An on site shop or cafe would be lovely but you can’t have everything!
Residents of Halesowen can take their families to Leasowes Park to explore and enjoy nature. There are trails for people of all ages, and there are a lot of animals, streams, and man-made waterfalls to see. A small park for kids is also there, and parking is free. Even though the park's steep terrain can make it hard for people with limited mobility to get around, it is a beautiful open space with a lot to see. Bring the right shoes and go on a walk, have a picnic, or let the kids play. People who like to walk their dogs and want to be alone can also enjoy the park.
A marvellous place to take the whole family for a gentle walk. A few different trails for all ages. You could easy spend a few of hours exploring the wildlife, streams, and mini waterfalls. There's also a small children’s park and free onsite parking.
It's a really lovely open space with lots to see as you walk round. People with limited mobility will definitely struggle round there as there are some very steep parts. You also really need to wear the correct shoes, don't make my mistake and wear flat mules! I would think from previous visits, the canal towpath is probably best and flattest to walk along. My Westie enjoyed herself even though it was very, very hot. Large car park and a small play area for kids which could probably do with being updated, lots of grassed areas though for them to play on and they would probably enjoy the paths near the stream. It's a nice place to walk your dog, take your kids or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the ducks.
What a wonderful place to wander. Lots of pools. Amazing birds. See pics. As a Brummie I grew up playing here better known as Mucklow Hill. I spent many a day exploring here as a child. Some 50 years later. I’ve spent lovely days watching the wildlife. Kingfishers galore. Must admit i absolutely hate the dodging of stray golf balls. It is between a golf course. Not a fan but you can’t have it all. Free parking. Good for all the family. Go and visit. It’s great.
Large park landscaped by William Shenstone in the 18th century. Well maintained walks and while steep in parts has nice water features and the ability to burn a lot of calories thanks to the slopes the carpark does not give the best impression and the play area is in desperate need of renovation. However the wooded areas and walks are very pleasant.
A beautiful and historic park. Great for a dog walk with different trails. There’s a kid’s adventure playground too. Would really benefit from an on site cafe and toilets.
Great walk we did the blue route which is relatively easy next time we will do red one which we have heard is a little hard. Great place to bring kids if it's snowy don't forget your sladge. I have now done all the routes beautiful place no matter the weather, you can get a nice coffee and cake/sandwich/breakfast from the golf club house, water bowls for dogs to
very good park for a walk alone, with children or with dog. There are lakes, streams and even small waterfall. playground for kids could be bigger. It's really nice area when you have enough of town life.
Lovely space. Nice for a brisk walk and nice inclines to get the old ticker working.
