Good food, good service, quite expensive. Waiter didn't know what a rusty nail cocktail was, even though it was on their menu. Waitress gave wrong dishes to us - they should know who ordered what.
We tried out La Vacherin for my wife’s birthday lunch. Very comfortable restaurant offering some good French food. The snails and mussels were a great way to start along with the house bread and great salted butter. The steak was nicely cooked and the coq au vin was delicious. Great desserts too and friendly staff.
Lovely dinner with good cocktails excellent wine selection and superb desserts. I recommend the starters and desserts above the mains. Seasoning was a bit lacking in the main course- we got the chateaubriand. Carpaccio and Vacherin were delicious, and baked fig was unexpected treat. Do try the dessert wines! Bill for two just shy of £200, we will return to try the prix fix.
We had a top notch Sunday Roast at Le Vacherin. Service was excellent. The fixed price menu for three courses is great value. I'll definitely be going back
Quite a gem.. Duck and Salmon was really well presented and tasty. Seafood broth lacked flavour and tasted a bit plain. Pâté was superb!!

Avoid ordering via Deliveroo! They had the audacity to deliver our £100 order chucked into a used carrier bag branded Premier convenience store. No tight packaging to avoid delivery damage, just everything loosely thrown into the carrier bag. As a result, the food arrived half a mile from the restaurant as though it had gone through a blender. An absolute disgrace for a restaurant that aims to be one of the better ones in W4. Le Vacherin, we expect you to do better than this!

I passed by many times and I could see this restaurant was I always busy. Then I met my friends there one evening and I loved this place. Their food, service, the atmosphere... it’s all really excellent.
