I consider myself somewhat of a pastry connoisseur , and I must say that the pastries at Le Patissier Anglais were truly out of this world! The owner, Carl is such a nice guy also and we enjoyed talking to him for a while. I wish I got a picture of the delicious and beautiful items that we purchased, but I was too anxious to eat them! We did get a picture of the cute package they came in. If you are in the Cotswolds, this is an absolute must visit!

I would have posted photos, but. I ate the pastries   they were gorgeous,  the egg tart, had the thickest filling ever, with lovely pastry surrounding it. My partner had the éclair,  with chocolate filling, she said it is the best thing she has ever put in her mouth. Next time I am in stow, I will make a bee line for this wonderful shop.

Really amazing place! Everything is baked and served by the one person, who works very hard and trained at La Gavroche in London, and had also worked in Paris. We initially ordered a cake each and a drink, and then ended up ordering another cake each! They are delicious. A treat for the taste buds! Super value for money too. Will be back! Can't recommend enough! Try the Mille Fieulle and fruit mousses.

This Christmas we ordered a Bûche de Noël from Carl  All I can say it that we never tasted a Bûche so divine and succulent ….  THANKS for making us such a heavenly Christmas log.

We love this place and always visit whenever we plan a trip to the Cotswolds.  Like many others, we have travelled a bit in France and fell in love with their patisseries and boulangeries. Le Patissier Anglais is a little slice of that, but much closer to home.  Our favourite is the custard tart - though we usually buy a selection to pick from!  Karl is lovely to speak to every time. Be sure to order in advance, as things disappear very quickly!

Fantastic I use this shop regularly and we love it, contrary to what the last person said. The products are superb and the owner is very nice and friendly therefore the last review is wholly incorrect, Nice place, great cakes and quiche.

Absolutely spectacular. Certainly the best dessert I’ve had in England. Just like I walked off the streets Paris. Carl is fixing everything right in front of you. Get there before he runs out. I purchased two items and I was only going to take a bite and then save the rest for dinner. I sat down in the Square and consumed both of them immediately and Went back for two more. Great place

I ordered a strawberry Fraisier cake for husband’s 60th birthday celebration having picked it from a photo on instagram, it was truly amazing. Carl also, kindly made a Basque cheesecake as a special request as it is my husband’s favourite. Highly recommend.

My wife and I visited this patissier, As we were back in Stow on the wold.  The food this man creates is amazing, and he is at the top of his game.  When ever we are near the location of his shop we always pay him a visit.  We have tried lots of his creations over the years and every one of them has been a exquisite pleasure to eat.

Wonderful customer service and the cakes taste even better than they look and they look amazing.
