Very tasty!!! Home-made chicken liver parfait with toasted sourdough was so tasty that even forgot to take a photo! Perfect waiters! On Saturday a bit noisy and tables are very small. Desert cream brulee was tasty ! Good red wine Cabernet!
This place is to French cooking such as cheese on toast is to a true Welsh Rarebit. Never in the field of human gastronomy, has such insipid food been laid before me, upon a table.The food was largely tasteless. It was mainly a masquerade of French cooking. There was no depth of flavour to excuse the presentation of such paltry portions. If you are gluten free as I am, do not expect the free complimentary bread.
Great atmosphere, good food and very friendly staff! Classic French bistro cuisine! Visited after Christmas decorations were up, very beautiful and festive!
Delicious meal. We had the 2 course set menu and there is a great choice for each section. The food was delicious and generous portions. You will get a good meal for a good price here. Staff were also very friendly and warm.

What a fantastic meal . There were 4 of us and we all had different starters ,mains and sweets and they were all cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive and the manager who was also waiting tables was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for authentic French meals . My compliments to all the staff and thank you to the chefs who obviously know how to prepare ,cook and deliver fantastic tasty food . Well done to all !!!
Have eaten here on a number of occasions in last few years. Ate here at lunch time this week. Excellent menu. Great service as always. However we found main course portions much reduced in size - my hake was tiny and a small dish of veg and potatoes between us, rather than one of each as we've had in the past. While we didn't starve we certainly weren't full after 2 courses. Will return as has been great in the past but will reserve judgement.
Very good restaurant. Go here fairly regular. I usually go with a dinner club I am a member of. We tend to get the "early bird" menu2 courses for a good rate, before going on to the Cinema or the Theatre. The food is good, the restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly! Ticks the boxes for me!
