My pup Josh wasn’t been his usual self, his vet didn’t really cared about my worries, so we took him to Lawrie Cumbernauld and he was seen by Katie. One the first consult she found lumps on him, which turned out to be cancer thanks to Katie and the lovely team we were able to have a few more precious month with him. When Josh’s brother Hugo got sick, it was thanks to Katie guidance and recommendations that help us give him a few extra months of happiness before he crossed the rainbow bridge to be with his brother. Losing both our boys was and still is one of the most sad moments of our lives and Katie and team were always kind and compassionate to us. They are the best!
I have nothing but praise for Lawrie Vets and their staff. Every single member of staff that I spoke to were pleasant and sympathetic. I was not a client of the vets but they made an appointment for my sick axolotl, I was told to phone this morning just in case a cancellation came up for today, which I did and managed to get an earlier appointment. Becky was absolutely amazing with comforting words when I had to make the decision to have our wee axolotl put to sleep. The reception staff were also lovely even though I could hardly speak for breaking my heart. Thank you so much for helping King Axolotl pass over peacefully. Lynda x
Unbelievably arrogant practice. Was driving 40mins from Glasgow only to be refused service for being late for 5mins. The vet did not even care to take a look at the patient and see if immediate attention was required such as pain relief. As a healthcare provider they show zero empathy to clients and patients. Total disgrace to the profession and industry. Will report them to the board for negligence

Took my piggies Bubbles and Squeaks to get toe nails clipped. Lovely nurse weighed them and checked them over before trimming nails. Highly recommended
Our family cannot praise this vets enough. Our furbaby Gizmo was 9 and sadly went to sleep in yesterday. The family are grateful to Connor for his care of Gizmo. We are totally devastated but gave Gizmo such a dignified end. Thank you. The Walsh Family

This was my first visit to Lawrie Vets in Cumbernauld, and my 28 year old African Grey's first ever visit to a Vet. Becky was fantastic, very knowledgeable and understanding of what I was explaining about my parrot's foot problem. Becky provided me with some very good information about treatment, nutrition and vitamin supplements which may help. If things do not improve and my parrot needs to return for an xray and bloods, I would be more than happy to leave him in her very caring and capable hands. The Reception staff were also very helpful when I contacted the first time, and were friendly and helpful again today when I visited the practice. As there is no Avian Veterinary in the area where I live, I would not hesitate to recommend this Practice to any of my friends who are also parrot owners. Thank you very much.
I can't thank the wonderful staff enough for looking after my beautiful dog Coco who sadly had to be put to sleep. We were both treated to such care and compassion. Thank you for caring.
