By default Lava's Garage is the best Car Sales & Service Center in town simply because the local competition is very poor to say the least - it is often overpriced and provides very little in the way of considerate customer relations. Lava's Garage may well be a short walk from Stornoway town center but they will always lend you a car for the day.  I have regularly used Lava's Garage for 15+ years and from my experience total Customer Satisfaction can be guaranteed 100% of the time.

A reliable honest independent garage with a great reputation. Always had very good dealings with them . Highly recommend.

Lavas garage is really the quickest and - in my opinion -  the best in Stornoway for foreign cars. They are expensive, but working on French cars is particularly expensive no matter which garage you go to.
