Ordered from here last night, knew it had a 1 star food hygiene rating but ordered from here because it was recommended. Glad I did… it was phenomenal. The rice was delicious, ordered the Singapore Fried Rice, the meat was lovely, big cuts of NON processed char su. The meat tasted really fresh which is unusual for a Chinese. The rice was fluffy, the veg still had crunch, the satay sauce didn’t develop the traditional microwaved skin that most takeaways supply. The veg spring rolls were crispy and the prawn crackers were fresh and crispy. Asked for chopsticks and they kindly supplied at no extra charge, and they were the environmentally friendly bamboo variety. I’ve worked in food my entire adult life and it’s hard to get anything less than a 5 star, nor is there any excuse to get less than a 5 star. However that being said, we all have bad days and in my opinion they got really really unlucky because their food is exceptional and easily the best Chinese food I’ve had. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.
Used Laurel Inn for the first time last night and ordered online. The food was excellent, well prepared and delicious. The delivery was brilliant, infact it arrived slightly early which wasn't a problem. I will definitely be ordering from Laurel Inn again.
Went last night had a terrible fried rice cold and uncooked and pink chickens been on toilet for many hours and feel terribly sick never going again it should be shut down and horrible staff ever so mean

Absolutely delighted with our service tonight, the lady on the phone was lovely. Our delivery arrived earlier than expected. The food was fabulous, tasty and definitely plenty of it. Thanks, Happy customers!
They are holding orders open on food hub to prevent feedback. Last nights order was delivered within 10mins of placing an online order. It wasnt a small order and I live around a 5min drive so it was clearly microwaved. I was real hungry so i dismissed the quality thinking it would be fine but i am paying for it today. *Avoid unless you fancy spending a day on the toilet
Have only used the Laurel Inn for takeaway, but their food is always very well flavoured and not at all greasy, which some Chinese takeaways can suffer from. Usually phone ahead and place the order, and it's never failed to be ready on time.
We had a great time! Food was great and the service was very great. We all had the Buffet, which was excellent. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. Another jewel in Leek! Will certainly be going back there again!
DO NOT EAT HERE. Food hygiene rating 1. Friend went here and had food poisoning for a week and subsequently in hospital for the second time. This place should be shut down. Couldn't give 0 star rating or would have.
Great food and nice place. A few hiccups with service e.g. delivering one drink and then the other ten minutes later, delivering 3/4 of the dishes ordered and then five minutes later bringing the rest. It can be a little draughty at times so wrap up warm. Staff are nice.
