Stopped for lunch when passing. Very cute inside, the food was lovely. Dog friendly. They also had an outside seating area. Parking: Parked in the village hall car park across the road.
Great little Cafe, all day breakfast which my husband had and he said everything on his plate delicious from the sausages to the haggis to the black pudding etc etc. The latte was so good I didn't want it to end, fantastic hospitality and a great place to have a chat with locals. We were driving back through the next day and planned on stopping in for breaky but it was too early and they were closed, must say we were disappointed but will definitely go there again next time we are up that way
Whilst in a holiday we've visited here twice. First time I had the goats cheese tart and my husband had scampi & chips. Second time I had steak and caramelised onion ciabatta with chips, Mr K had chicken supreme. All four meals absolutely delicious and great value for money. The premises are extremely covid safe. Super clean, distancing observed, contact details collected and a very well thought out paying process. We'd highly recommend this place. The staff are super friendly and they sell artwork of local artists very reasonably priced - we ended up buying two! Charlie and the sheep will be very happy with us. Thanks Susie x
AMAZING - Private event for the Mothers 50th surprise party, went to plan without a hitch. All staff were friendly and beyond helpful setting up and throughout evening. Hot & Cold - Savoury & Sweet buffett was perfect, classic favourite and very happy guests. Huge choice at bar. 100% Recommend for just a coffee to a private party. Lovely, Clean, Cosy environment. Biggest hug and thank you Sus for making it so magical. I’ll pop in for coffee with the mother soon Thank you
Have stopped at the Laurel Bank a few times now, mostly whilst out on my motorbike with friends, but today was a car journey just for a changed. The staff are just amazing, especially the tall girl with the glasses , she is just over brimming with positivity and energy and so polite, the food is always good if a little pricey buy that’s just the way of most things these days. I really enjoyed my all day breakfast and cappuccino, and my friend enjoyed her roll , cappuccino and especially her banoffee pie. the garden area is a little sun trap , and the place just looks great and bulging with character , it’s a 140 mile round trip for me but definitely worth it .
I had a light lunch here whilst touring on my motorbike. The tea room was easy to find and park right outside. My lunch of fishcakes and salad, followed by a lemon drizzle cake with a flat white coffee were all delicious. The service was excellent and accomodating for someone with motorbike gear.
We went to the garden centre and was surprised at how large the centre was and the huge variety of plants, shrubs and trees on offer. We called into the tearoom for coffee and cakes. Good value and lovely setting.
Pre booked at the Tea Room for a party of 13, nine of which were cyclists doing the Scottish Coast to Coast. The service and food couldn't have been better. They had a set of tables ready for us inside but as it was fine we eat outside. Thoroughly recommend a stop here. September 2022
Lovely lunch at the tearoom today. Particularly the home made fishcake and the traditional knickerbocker glory.
