It’s such a shame that Laura Ashley are closing down. That said we all love a bargain and I’ve been in there on a few occasions recently. On every single occasion the dark haired lady has been incredibly rude, uninviting, and helpful. Why did they keep her? I had a few minutes this morning and thought I would see if anybody else had put any reviews on and I’m not surprised to see that there are numerous comments about this woman. I’ll be glad not to have to see her again. She personally does the Weybridge branch an utter disservice.
One member of staff I encountered was amazing think she was a northern lady judging by her accent she couldn’t do enough to help ! Sold me some lovely pictures frames x 3 with lovely discount ! While browsing She told me the Other items I wanted 2 lamps would have a discount when I returned the next day to purchase. However on my 2nd visit I spoke to a lady dark long hair And she said the discount was smaller than what I had been told day before . We are like talking couple pounds , but she would not sell it to me for the 30 % I was told only 20% she could offer . That was that take it or leave it . In the end I bought the items elsewhere ! All because of the response From her. The store could have made £150 that day ! Shame !
Awful. I’ve dealt with some of the staff in here before. Surly. There are a couple of dark haired ones late ‘40’s, early ‘50’s that have always looked down their noses at you. Bought some paint yesterday, slightly wrong shade. Went to exchange it today unopened was told no, because they’re going into administration. No surprise with staff like that. Showed them the receipt and it said I had until 18/4/20 to get a refund. They wouldn’t honour it though. I wasn’t told of these rules and apparently they should’ve stamped it but they didn’t. Bottom of the receipt said your legal rights weren’t affected, but seems they are. Terrible. Good riddance. Decent products, terrible and rude staff in the Weybridge branch.
Yaa I agree with the reviews that the dark hair lady in weybridge branch is a bad server in customer service , had the same experience that she looks down at you , and when I try to tell her its 30%off ,which she charge me full price , she dont apologise at all . Poor laura Ashley for hiring staffs like that .
Lovely items as usual but not very friendly and helpful staff. The day I was there anyway. Pity, as I really did want to browse and buy some items but the two ladies in there were making me feel very uncomfortable with their non engagement and frosty willingness to help. Walked out in the end.
I can't believe the negative comments below which look like they are all from the same person on different accounts. I worked here for over 4 years and the staff members have always been lovely. Always made to feel welcome.
I agree. Rude stuff. Not friendly at all, Especially lady with dark hair. Love this brand, but it is a shame !
In the middle of a purchase and told to leave as store was now closing down. What kind of business refuses to sell to a customer standing there with their money in hand.
