Worst customer service ever experience in my life! i give a star just because i have to, otherwise none! It is the second time I deal with this awful, rude customer service, First time, it was over the phone. Assistant at the other end was rude and even though i was already an existing customer she kept asking "Who are you?" in a very condescending and rude manners. Second time, I went into the store to try to find and purchase a sofa-bed. The assistant did not even look bothered, she asked me if i was looking for something to what i answer, "looking for sofa-bed". she directed me to a one that it was already sold. She suggested to buy a brand new, i asked how much would it be and she gave a close price to what I did not think it was in the budget. To my surprise, instead of showing more products or options, as i was going to spend money, she said and i quote: "Try in the charity shop next door" I was so shock about her answer, in front of the other assistant or customers cannot tell who they were that i walk out of the store. Of course, as i can see in the rest of reviews this is a normal behaviour in that store that i'm surprise it has not been sorted out from HQ already. I also assume that this review will not have any impact or answer from the store manager or HQ anyways. Like the rest. very unprofessional. Never again will visit or spend money in LAURA ASHLEY.
Great sale on this week, but really poor customer service. The lady who later refused to provide her name did not acknowledge my presence at the counter while she was attending to another customer. And when she finally finished serving her she simply took my goods in complete silence, really cold, no eye contact. I later asked for her name but she refused to provide it. I asked if she was the store manager she said she was 'almost like the store manager'. I said her customer service was really poor, really unfriendly. And what was even worse and later hilarious was she said even in Waitrose they don't bow down to customers'. Wow! As I left the store, another customer called after me to tell me the customer service was always awful in there, and that she tries to avoid going in there but normally goes to the branch in Kingston. It was a relief to know that it was not just me who thought my interaction with this worker was unpleasant!
Horrible experience. My parents are planning on redecorating their entire home and thought of Laura Ashley as products are very nice. However after the service we received last week we will never go again. Went in with my mother to purchase a rug. I approached a lady behind the counter named Katy D. She assisted me on retrieving the rug however when asked to wrap it up with extra plastic as I was planning on traveling with it by plane, she said to us in a very rude manner "Well that's your problem!" Never again.
My wife and I went to this showroom, ready to buy a bed, mattress and bed linens but no sales assistant approached us to ask what we were looking for. After chasing for help, a blonde medium age sales assistant finally came to us but she was very rude, she didn't know anything about the mattresses we were asking for and her faces were saying "I dont care what are you talking about" It's a pity we have received that kind of treatment, they lost a great sale because of her attitude and definitely we won't buy never from them.
Laura Ashley home furnishings are really nice and good value in the frequent promotions. However, the staff in this branch are terrible in all respects, and their system's ability to work out where you might be able to see something from the catalogue is woeful.
Shockingly bad service. Had to remake curtain three times. They came and measured it but seem incapable of copying notes into a ordering system. Everything is late and everything is incorrect. They are very slow at fixing their own mistakes. Worst company I have ever dealt with.
I have always received excellent service at this branch – the staff in the clothing department are amazingly helpful.
