After a successful 30 months of trading we at Lau's have decided to offer our loyal customers more variety of dishes at an excellent price!

Large parties are welcome. Our spacious restaurant seats up to 202 customers.

Story

Eat and relax in our contemporary surroundings. The exceptional 1.1 million design of LAUS 202 was created by Dakota House of Design. Their work has generated a calm and relaxing atmosphere to ensure you appreciate the quality of the food. The LAU family has now opened a vast variety ASIAN style restaurant.

With over 100 With over 100 varieties to choose from, every visit will be a different experience. At our Chef’s Island we offer a generous variety of sushi, hot and cold starters, soup noodles, dim sum and teppanyaki and grill to order. Watch our professionally trained sushi chefs prepare food fresh while you wait for your teppanyaki and grill order to be cooked. Fresh waffles are also available.

Amazing Chinese food. You pay £13 or less depending on day and you eat how much you want. Just pay extra for drinks. Delicious food. The only problem manager keep staring at you all the time well that was awkward well I kind of understand as they are very busy there and have lots of pressure, but still they should respect their customers and staff support was awesome love it. I am still giving 5 star, just because of food they make and cheap price. Recommended
The waiters here were very quick and organised in collecting up empty plates. There are a huge variety of options to choose from and you can just help yourself. There's a section where you can order specific foods as well, and all of the options are well labelled with any allergy information. In general its a very relaxed environment.
The food very average, I mainly had chicken dishes and found it very chewy. Even though it was all in hot trays the food itself was cold or warm at best.
Do you need to know much more than the fact that you can have nigh on an unlimited supply of banana and melted chocolate? Does anyone really? I mean aside from a scary variety of chicken, pork, beef, fish, dimsum, tepanyaki- but you shouldnt need to know much more than the banana and chocolate thing, it was amazing!
Variety of good food. Spacious and good ambiance. My daughter was 9 year old but tall for her age and they charged full price.
It was lovely .made more special today with evening menu on at lunch .yum yum thankyou
Good asian food.. I took the vegetarian version.. will go again for a meal
Great place to visit for an all you can eat buffet
WOW, the food here is incredible. We went with the whole family, youngest was 4 oldest 65, we all enjoyed the food, the 4 year old fell in love with the ice cream machine!! We went for the early menu, but you have to have paid and left by 5pm to not get charged the higher price. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Fantastic as a special occasion or treat.
Enjoyed a delicious buffet with family today. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming staff member and enjoyed a thoroughly lovely lunch. Plenty of choice, delicious flavours and high attention to detail. Excellent value! Could not fault the food or staff. If you are looking for a place to go in Newcastle for a Chinese buffet, would highly recommend.
