Decent place inside town. Have to park a bit away and walk. Steak was good, chicken fajita was nice. Prawns were not nice. Overall a bit expensive for the food. Service was good.
Our recent trip to Las iguanas was really good. We did the late night bottomless brunch and really enjoyed it. The service from Emma was absolutely amazing. She was really on top of drinks orders which, for me, is the most important part of a bottomless brunch experience. The menu had a decent amount to chose from, both food and drinks. I would be happy to pay the £35 for that again.
Came here with my wife & 2 friends. 3 of us were told our main choices were not available, 2 of our starters were not available and also some of our drink requests. When we settled for our 2nd or 3rd choices, the food was okay. The server was very apologetic and very polite and did her best. We could tell she was mortified at the lack of availability too. Also, as a Coeliac, the GF fajitas were disappointing, as the 4 wraps that were provided were smaller than the palm of my hand. It felt like I was eating a kids Happy Meal and left still feeling hungry.
Very nice Las Iguanas in Coventry. A bit crowded but the food was very nice and the drinks were excellent.
A very busy place during weekends. Friendly staff, since it's so busy food takes a bit long to arrive. Starters portions are way too small for the price.Food: 4/5
Lovely place, quite busy. Food presented well, and tasted wonderful. The only thing I would say that if you are going to put hot peppers in a beautiful mild chicken dish, please put them in whole so that can be taken off your plate as my friend had one that was cut up and it was so hot it made her mouth on fire and spoiled the dish for her. Good friendly service, would definitely recommend a visit.
Good place to hang out with friends. I like their drinks and cocktails menu. Their strawberry caipirinha is really good as well as their Brazilian Grapefruit Spritz. I liked Malquerida Fresh Red lager, it's a nice lager for summer. If you want to go there for Friday, Saturday night, you need to make reservations a few days before for sure. Their chicken quesadillas, nachos, Brazilian fried chicken and burritos are nice for a chain restaurants.
Seated promptly and drinks ordered and came quickly. Food took an hour to arrive, it is Valentine's day but still too long to wait. I had coconut curry, which was nice but overpriced. Friend had the Cuban sandwich, would not recommend, very dry. Staff were friendly but not very attentive. Very good with allergy requirements.Food: 3/5
1st time here and the food is lovely and so are the staff. We had our mums birthday dinner and every guest enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I just want to extend an extra thank you to Gary who took care of us during our time here. I would recommend this this place 100%. I look forward to my next visit... Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options as well Dietary restrictions: The have a good range of gluten free
Absolutely not acceptable. Firstly, when we arrived, we were told the previous group on our table, hadn't quite paid for everything they ordered, leaving us worried we'd be expected to cover their payment. Then, one item of food was brought out wrong. Fair enough, the waitress did offer to replace this, but still not hard to get the right meal. When we paid for our meal, the server who took payments, did not seem to think it necessary to warn us of a so called "optional" service charge. This is essentially a tip the company has decided you owe them, which can be removed by your choice. This was however not explained, even when the final person was paying, she was not informed of the "optional" amount she could have saved. Because the group before us had not paid off their tab, our service charge was calculated with their money as well. This lead to me having to pay £38 for a service charge, which was not ever mentioned to me or another one of our group. Will definitely be warning friends in future to be careful not to get robbed and only pay for what they order.
