All good, but not THAT good. I was here in a group of 6 on NYE and the place was packed - we still got a nice, reserved table. We all had the 2 tapas + 2+2 cocktails deal for £26 each. The food was great with many vegetarian options nachos, mushroom empeñadas but none of us felt tipsy after 4 cocktails - which shows how little alcohol went into them.
Food was good, cocktails bogof but didn't specify the same cocktail on the menu so ended up with 4 when we wanted 2. Service all done by app which is fine but seems cheeky asking for a service charge. Nothing stand out but not bad either. Cocktails pretty weak booze wise.Food: 4/5
Great food. Amazing service. Authentic dishes served. The ambience was awesome. We tried the Chicken Xinxim and the Enchiladas. Both were fulfilling, served with the authentic plantain chips, black beans. On another time, we tried the Chicken Burger which came with large portions of curly fries and the freshly prepared nachos. They have quite a lot of options for drinks and are unique in flavour while refreshing. Located on high street, a must visit if you are in town.
We visited here today for their bottomless brunch. I can honestly say that this is great value for money especially if you add the cocktail upgrade. Our waiter for our visit was CJ and considering it was only his second day he did a great job. Nothing was too much trouble. If you're passing and fancy some great food and even better cocktails it's well worth a visit.
Service felt completely lazy. Granted, it was a Saturday lunch, but it wasn't particularly busy. The staff seemed to do minimal. We were told on arrival that we were to scan a QR code on our table to order. This, for some reason, would not load the website for me or my wife. After 5 mins of trying this, we flagged down the manager, and she was able to take our order. Our drinks arrived, and then shortly after our food, the waiter pretty much dropped the food and ran before we could ask for condiments. There was no check back to check everything was satisfactory with our mains. We finished eating, and we sat for 15 mins with plates that needed clearing. Our table #34 was right in the centre of the restaurant in the direct path for staff, yet not one of the members of staff had the thought to clear our table. We could now use the website to order our deserts and a glass of water, so we piled the plates in the middle of our table to make space so the deserts could be dropped. About 2 two minutes before the desserts arrived, the manager noticed our plates and removed them from the table. Deserts arrived, and shortly later, a bottle of water and two glasses that were hot enough to burn your hand.
Some of the most disgusting food I’ve ever had the displeasure of eating . Where do I start . Firstly walking in it is clear the staff couldn’t care less wether you dine in with them or not, not realising that poor service means eventually they will all be out of a job and looking for the next establishment to offer their horrible customer service The grande nachos were stale , oily and disgusting. The cheese was solid but it some point had melted . We also added calamari which came with a few curly fries snuck in at the bottom which were old and oily. The starters came within a minute of ordering Our mains we ordered chicken quesadilla and a chicken burrito , both bland and vile to eat , we left majority of it as it was absolutely horrible to eat. Everything tasted old and microwaved . There is no care to the quality of the food considering for a few small bits we paid nearly £50 . Thank god it was my first time and now my last time visiting this chain of inauthentic sorry excuse for South American food
We visited here for an anniversary dinner and we had a really great time. We used a QR code to access the menu and place our orders, which I actually really like because it felt like a more natural environment and we could take as long as we wanted to pick. Unfortunately, there was a system error so we couldn't finalise the order online so we asked a waiter to help, but otherwise we had no issues throughout our dinner. We got 2 pina coladas which arrived quickly and were tasty. We also got the sticky guava glazed ribs with sweet potato fries which were fall off the bone delicious sweet, sticky, with lots of caramelized onion, the gaucho steak, sweet plantain with 3 dips, and a sticky toffee pudding. Overall, everything was so delicious and the atmosphere was incredible too. We went on a Tuesday night so it was quiet. The waiter and waitress serving us were super nice and helpful too. I would absolutely recommend going here, we had a lovely time.
Many items on the menu were unavailable, the chicken is halal which is great. The chicken wings were crispy but overcooked/dry from Inside. The Brazilian fried chicken was really nice. My nephew had the chicken burrito and said it was ok.
If youe gluten intolerant avoid! Plus if you want a fast meal also avoid. Staff can't cope when it's busy not sure if it's the kitchen struggling but so may sat waiting for food. Also gluten free wraps.. passing off halloween squid ink the size you would serve a child.. why Had the GF chorizo and was served one.. like there not aware you can actually get gluten free sourdough to match the normal version your serve. Thought the fajitas might fair a bit better but nope out they came.. and they were left.. 50 minutes for fahitas and a burger which was so dry you could pick it apart. Will never return!
Just had the Tapas and the dessert as we were not too hungry. Food was not too bad and the place is vibrant. Would've given it 5 stars if the service was quick!
