Not been there in 5 years. Now i rember why. All are food was cold and didnt really taste of anything even the curry. Plus its cash only with no sign didn't find out till after I'd ordered my food witch is very bad. Then had to mess about getting cash. The staff well was no communication at all was stood for ages after I'd ordered nobody else in I had to ask what the wait was as everything I'd orderd was cooked. Kid-friendliness: Was no communication at all was stood waiting for food was waiting for chips witch I wasn't told I had to ask
This guy really knows how to cook fish. My wife and I both had large cod and it was the best cooked fish we had in our time in the UK. The batter was crisp and crunchy, the fish white as driven snow. We really enjoyed our supper. We will definitely recommend this shop to family and friends. Parking: Easy parking right outside the shop.
I was in Langold seeing some friends and I was introduced to this little fish and chip shop. Firstly, the smell was mouth watering. I didn't actually plan on eating but honestly, I couldn't resist. Secondly upon entering the chip shop, I was amazed how clean it was. I mean, absolutely spotless. There wasn't even a splash of grease anywhere. I was very impressed. Finally, the prices were very competitive and cheaper than most other Fish and Chip shops in the area. Due to the low price, I actually expected a smaller portion. I actually ordered an extra fishcake in anticipation of a small helping.I was mistaken. I was given a generous portion of mouthwatering food. The fish was fresh, the chips were perfect and all of it was piping hot. Absolutely delicious. 100% recommended.
Great mini fish bites, chips and mushy peas, lovely young lady behind the counter, very helpful and pleasant. A pleasure to shop there, highly recommend.
Always the best around and they even have American chip spice
20 mins + waiting for a sausage. When I challenged them asking about wait they hadn’t even started cooking them.
We have recently moved to Langold and have had fish and chips from Langold Fish Bar a couple of times now. Excellent food, service and price plus delivery option. Would most certainly recommend them.
Just had mixed kebab for £6.50 doner meat had no heat to it at all just like it had been sat in the pot from the night before and chicken was just awful, very sloppy and greasy which probably was from the previous night also. I noticed that the heaters weren't on and neither of the meats were rotating on my entry which only strengthens my suspicions. Very disappointed as was really looking forward to my meal.
Went to langold chip shop last night,we usually use carlton because that's where we live but it was closed. And we weren't disappointed, a mixed kebab and chips battered sausage and peas it was beautiful,we will be definitely going again. Oh and excellent service.
We called last week for the first time. Chips were lovely. And our lass said it was the best scollop fish cake she has had in years. Will be calling again tomorrow for lunch
