Dont ever use Malaysian Name but dont serve Malaysian hospitality. The service was horrible and the chef and waitress were rude. "We wouldn't want to serve you as you only order sides and starters, you would need to order main dishat least" and complained you are busy to entertain such order. We were full and just want a taste of home after weeks in Ireland but was serve with rudeness. If only we could give zero we would give zero star. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE EVER
Excellent dining experience. We all loved our evening in this beautiful Malaysian restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. Everything was wonderfully presented & full of flavour. The food, atmosphere and service were all superb.
Visited the restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. The food was amazing. Full of flavour and like nothing else I’ve had in Dublin. If you want something authentic and of the highest quality look no further than Langkawi.
I have been going to this place once-twice every 2 months over the last year. The comfort and delicious food, calming ambience, super service, keeps bringing me back. I've not had such authentic food in Dublin, and highly recommend this place. Keep up the great work Langkawi Team! See you again soon. Vegetarian options: Gulai is a really nice vegetarian mains.
My first restaurant in Dublin and I couldn't have had a better experience. I had the Satay to start, it had a nice crispy glaze and paired with the raw onion and peanut sauce on the side. For the main course I got both the coconut rice and the Devil chicken. I got the chicken only "spicy" instead of "very spicy" and I wish I had gotten it spicier, but most people will be satisfied with just "spicy". For dessert the tapioca pudding with coconut milk and vanilla ice cream was smooth and savory. I might add that the vanilla ice cream easily could have been the best vanilla ice cream I've ever had. Granted it was a small portion, I loved every bit of it. The fresh mint tea was had alongside the dessert and it paired nicely. I highly recommend this place especially at night the ambience in the place was relaxed. Well fitted artwork, decorations and furniture, even the toilets were very well kept. 5 star restaurant.
Best Malaysian food I found in Dublin, even my Spanish husband who don't take spicy food succumb to the yummy chicken curry and beef rendang! The waiting staff were lovely, always checking in on us ensuring everything was OK, chatting with us, makes me feel totally like home... Perfect place for me to enjoy food close to home. The chef is a Malaysian, and he retained the taste of the Asian food to its authentic flavour that you can find overseas. Malaysia, truly Asia.
The portions for the price are tiny. The laksa soup broth wasn't very flavourful and tasted watered down. The main didn't come with rice or noodles, that was extra and to top it off the rice that we did pay extra for was under cooked. I had high hopes after reading other reviews but was sadly disappointed.
The waiter asked us to leave when we ordered just desserts and tea on Tuesday at 9pm while the restaurant was almost empty. The waiter said we can't order just desserts in the restaurant.Service: 1/5
