I loved having our family photo taken at the Lands End sign. It was on my bucket list of things to do and I am so glad to have done it. We chose what we wanted on the sign, which was nice as it was more personal. Only downside is it does cost. Prices start from £10.95, but I think it was worth every penny to have a proper photo taken. They take your address when you pay and they send out the chosen sized photo. The gentleman who took our picture was amazing. He took his time to make sure our picture was perfect. A Great experience!
Touristy and commercial place with great sunsets. Go if you must have that selfie under the Land’s End sign. The people are kind and the price for parking in a busy place like this is justified. It’s a great starting point for comparably easy coastal walks. Check the calendar for fireworks in the summer. They really are something and if you want to avoid crowds, no one stops you from finding the perfect viewpoint somewhere along the coastal path
This place has been massively monetised which takes away from its charm. There are great views around the area and it’s nice to walk around. The fact you have to pay £7 to park a car no matter how long you stay seems expensive and that you are paying that because there is nowhere else nearby to park without a long walk. The sign is fenced off and you have to pay to get a photo next to it. You can still get photos from behind the barrier though. There are plenty of places to get food and drink and there weren’t too many hills when we were there. Very much aimed as a tourist trap to extract money.
Some love it some don't but you gotta try some of the walks either way along the coast for some amazing views the pub/hotel serves good drinks and the food looks good although I've not tried it good for sitting and chilling. I always go when all the attractions are closed 6pm its not so busy, beware you have to pay to park before 6pm I think.
On Nov 4, 2022, my wife, our younger daughter and I came again. We were here in 2004, and I first came here in 1987. The place has changed from natural to artificial. While the best Land’s End only existed in my mind, here is still one of the best spots to visit in England as I people know exactly where they have been.Visited onWeekdayWait time1 hr+Reservation recommendedNot sure
Very touristy, lots of little shops, a couple of food places, limited but available vegan food-not very well advertised. Parking was £7.50 for a car which is a bit steep but it is used for conservation so I didn't mind so much. There is a good little bird watching hut too which is a nice addition. Enjoyed overall
Haven't been to St Ives for over 35 years. Beautiful place with stunning views! Went on a beautiful sunny day, pleasant stroll with an ice cream Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Land's End in Cornwall is a stunning place to go for a hike. The landscape is truly impressive and the views are breathtaking. It's a great spot to take some memorable photos and immerse yourself in nature. Highly recommended for those who love the outdoors and want to experience the beauty of Cornwall.
You can’t visit lands end without getting a photo of the sign. £10 for a photo with sign although may seem steep, is one of my favourite photos and a memory we will cherish for ever!Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNo
Absolutely stunning picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean with an amazing sunset. Lands End signpost indicating direction of New York and John O' Groats. Lovely kids park nearby and a model village perfect for photos. SubhanAllah!
