This is an absolute gem of a school. The teaching, administration as well as the management staff are simply fantastic. They do an excellent job with the students. They teach diligently and manage and administer perfectly. Facilities are excellent and at this brilliant school.
I live near the school and have no end of problems along side my neighbours who also have. From paint spills, trespassing due to kids climbing the walls to get balls, smashing locked gates up to get in to get balls, kids running riot on the dual carriageway against the traffic. They say they will deal with the issues and pass it on but nothing happens , they let the kids do what they want. The security after school is rubbish and clearly walks about with his eyes shut..as only this evening there were kids on the dual carriageway and a policeman after them. There’s apparently an exam to pass to get in here, god knows why. I was going to send my daughter as it’s close to where we live but that will not be happening!
Absolutely outstanding the teachers are rooting for the students and want the best for them and go one step and beyond for them students I can not fault them best school I have known
Absolute worst school in derby. You may have heard good things about it in the past but it is far from it now.nTeachers are disrespectful and patronizing despite being incompetent: Staff now consisting of mainly trainees as all experienced members left for obvious reasonsnChildren vaping and fighting in the toilets,nFacilities are abysmal.nThey increase intake of students every year with budget going down concededly, making traversing school a nightmare during change over.nand theres more...nDo not send your kid here, they'll be better anywhere else
It is definitely the worst school. After my son attended this school, I realized that a high school rating does not mean the quality of the teachers is good.
