Amazing!! Shopping for my perfect wedding dress was something I’ve dreamt of since I was little, and Gypsophila didn’t disappoint. I fell in love with the first dress I tried on, but Sarah was patient enough with me to try on dozens more as well as “the one” several more times to be sure. She let me have several further appointments with my parents, future mother in law, siblings and bridesmaids to check I had seen everything and I was making the right choice. I was living in London at the time and she was great at keeping in constant correspondence, I’d mail her about appointments, accessories and fittings etc and she was always was excellent at getting back to me. I read countless bridal magazines, looked at and tried on dresses in many other bridal shops in London and in the North but none compared to the high standard of service and stock of Sarah at Gypsophila. The dress I picked was expensive but when I consider the hours Sarah patiently put in to the whole experience I consider it to be excellent value. Now married, when I look back at my year of wedding planning, dress shopping in gypsophila is a definite highlight. I have very high customer service standards and would certainly recommend this place for brides-to-be in search of the perfect wedding dress (and shoes, veil and accessories...).

I definately wouldn't recommend this place. My mum and my sister were left sat waiting for over 2 hours without being offered a drink, when asked about parking (the parking on the road outside is for 1 hour stays only), the lady wasn't helpful in the slightest and was quite dismissive and abrupt. In fact, her entire demeanour was somewhat rude. The girl who helped me try on the dresses was lovely, she was very friendly and if I could fault her on anything it would be that she seemed to be trying a little too hard. The icing on the cake, however, was that when I found a dress I liked I asked the lady who the designer and style was (so that I could look later online, as I couldn't take photographs), I was told very definately that I would not find it online as the dress was made specially for the shop. I didn't trust this and quite rightly so, as when I searched later I found the dress on the designers website and found plenty of stockists in the area! If I hadn't been lied to, I could have easily forgiven the other faults but as I believe it is important to have trust in the person who is providing the dress for the biggest day of your life I would struggle to recommend this shop to anyone.
