Played skittles here a couple of weeks ago. Great alley but a little cold. Staff were great and skittles food good. There were two TV screens showing sport too and a pool table, bonus..
Always friendly little pub, lovely beer garden, I've only ever had a baguette there but it was great. If you're passing, pop in
Smashing little pub. Friendly staff with a reasonable selection of beer. Toilet was clean. Okay it's not the Ritz-Carlton but it is a friendly little pub. I'd be happy to stop in again.
Friendly and reasonable prices. Meal excellent and nice relaxed atmosphere.
What an amazing pub, we were down on holiday and needed somewhere to watch the championship final, the landlady and all her staff made us feel so welcome and the food was lovely. One thing you do need to be aware of ensure you pre book taxi if you need one as they are quite difficult to get hold of.
Nice place to get a drink, watching football and chill out there with friends
I finished work a little early, so as I was passing Axminster I decided to pop into The Lamb to see the lovely Bel, & see what beer she had on the bar. I chose a pint of Sunshine Reggae from Fine Tuned Brewery, Bishops Lydeard, near Taunton. It was a great choice, golden, fruity, bitter sweet, not over hoped & in good condition. Yummy!
Great place to visit, for a meal and very good value for money brilliant Atmosphere and Fellow Customers are friendly. 100% best place to watch the football and dine. NO DOGS ALLOWED... as owner has there own rescue dog.
Great atmosphere with good real ale, we both had a roast meal very tasty Landlady and staff very friendly I definately recommend this place
Lovely atmosphere, great food and drink and very friendly staff. Just eaten roast dinner, one vegi, one normal. Well made, good portion size. Chef and owner came out to garden after service had finished to check back with customers and made sure everything was OK. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and able to have a banter when appropriate. The garden is large and layed out well so everyone can feel safe away from others. Would totally recommend that you visit here.
