Me and my girlfriend recently moved walking distance from this plaza, despite mixed reviews we thought we'd try the Chinese takeaway as Chinese is our favourite, we couldn't be more pleased with the food and service, we ordered for pick up, it was quick to be ready and the lady behind the counter was very quick and helpful, and added bonus is the 2 cute parrots inside.nnFood was perfect and we had a well needed feast to break up the unpacking session we were having!
Ordered food via Uber eats specifically requested for no beansprout but surprise both noodles dishes had beansprout in it. I called the takeaway to replace it without beansprout which they agreed to it and 60 minutes has passed now and replacement still isn't here. This is the last time I'm ordering from LAKESIDE CHINESE TAKEAWAY. Replacement never arrived and when called Takeaway was told I would have to pay. Lady on the phone has absolutely no what she is doing does not have any manners whatsoever.
I have used this Chinese numerous times. I really enjoy the food but the app is diabolical so barely any orders go through the app. The app registered my food as a collection order but I ordered delivery. I got kicked out during the order and had to place it 3 times. I called to find out where the food was and was met by a pleasant girl who explained the issue and I tried to pay for delivery. I gave card details and said I was disappointed in the app which is always quite painful. She said ‘let me speak to the owner’ next thing I get is a ton of abuse from an old lady!!!! She rose me to anger with her lack of customer service!!! I had just tried to pay for their app’s mistake!! Then I got another owner call back when I said I would refuse the payment through the bank. At the end of the day, a mistake happened. I gave card details to pay for their app’s mistake and got abuse!! It is what it is. Good luck if you suffer app problems, because they have no customer service skills when things go wrong and won’t let you speak to explain the problem. I will never use them again after this experience.
Absolutely shocking, lucky to even be getting 1 starnnThe duck was dry and had loads of little bits of small bone in.nThe chicken satay was just.. chicken no satay the sauce was more like a vile hot chilly sauce.nThe egg fried rice was burnt and extremely over cooked.nAnd for my partners noodles well she had one mouthful and couldn't eat any more.
Ordered Thai veg red curry. As you can see it doesn't look even close to that and I can confirm that the taste as well far from that. Tofu is rubbery. No more Thai here.
