A wonderful cafe with a wide menu choice for reasonable prices sitting on the edge of a reservoir and an ideal point to catch the Ffestiniog Railway to either Porthmadog or Blaenau Ffestiniog. It is also a great start or finish point to visit the Stwlan Dam which is a lovely walk up up the Moelwyn Mountains.

We found this place a few years ago and always grab a bite to eat when we visit Snowdonia. It’s a bit of a greasy spoon (which we like) and the food is generous and tasty. It is in a great location with lovely views and the Ffestiniog Railway passes just outside.
Last visit we even met Clare Balding off the telly there! Must be good.
