I ordered two small cakes frills that would easily have fit into an envelope...I'm guessing the person who put them in this enormous box for dispatch doesn't like their job ...either that or the training they get is non-existant even though you would think not putting something so tiny in a box that size would be basic common sense!. Won't bother ordering again from Lakeland if this is how wasteful they are.

Ordered an item on Amazon which offered free UK delivery. I use a courier service which gives me a virtual address in the UK, I then pay the courier service to deliver to me in Ireland. Lakeland decided they didn’t like this and cancelled my order TWICE, citing that the wouldn’t deliver to the address I supplied them with... even though it is in the UK! If you offer free UK delivery, then you should stand by that!  I received no email or notification informing me of the cancellation, or the reason for it. I only found out when I contacted Amazon customer service to find out why my order was not listed in my recent purchases.nnThere are companies on Amazon who offer free UK delivery but specify that they do no deliver to Northern Ireland where my virtual address is located... still part of the UK Lakeland is not one of those companies.nnTo offer a service and then renege on that offer after accepting the purchase is appalling practice! Customer service is non-existent. Disgusted by the company’s behaviour.
